Awesome brother, cool vid!!! Absolutely LOVE that body of water. I've stuck my share of GIANTS out of there through the years. Incredible largemouth fishery for sure. Also, I really like that color pattern on your spinnerbait, home-made?

@@Takeakidfishin Thanks man! Yeah I really like that place and it’s not far from me at all. Think I’ll have to pop in there at least one more time before it starts to slow down there. I’m a big time spinnerbait guy lol. I do make my own and thanks for the compliment. They’re the most bitten lures I use and I have most of my luck on crappie pattern baits. The real trick though is using that single Colorado blade. I do 2 different styles of crappie pattern, one has blue highlights that I call Glacial Crappie and the other has green highlights that I call Emerald Crappie. I do perch and bluegill patterns too but the crappie ones are my favorite.

@@NewEnglandOutdoorsman I do have to say that the spinnerbait is one of my favorites as well, especially in the spring. I'm a big fan of double willow leaf when you want more flash but yes, the single Colorado blade for more THUMP!!! My dad and I used 1oz. single Colorado blade at night, in black/black blue. Massive thumping vibrations drawing big fish in the dark. When the musky jitterbugs were not drawing the topwater strikes, that spinnerbait was next up, and man did it SPIT fish!!!
