I went river fishing for trout, bass and sunfish. My dad and I caught some nice fish from the river. We landed 6 different species of fish. It was a great day of multi species river fishing!

I wish I'd had the opportunity to fish with my dad. He's 94 now and can't get out. I didn't start fishing until 4 years ago and he was past the age to get to the streams and rivers. He gave me all his gear - an entire collection of rods and reels and lures and such. I'd give anything to be able to fish beside him at the river now. You are a lucky man sir!

Why don’t you take him out with a lawn chair and let him watch you fish. He (if could remember) tell you wise thoughts and words of wisdom. I’m sorry you didn’t have the chance to fish with your dad

@@user-jacksgrounded I love the thought my friend and thanks for the kind words. He just can't walk to the edge of the creeks and rivers to sit in that lawn chair. The geography here in my area is just too rough and tumble with rocks, trees, brush, etc. I appreciate the thought pal!

🎣 right off the back here, nothing but nicely well-deserved caught fish. Great species and a job well done too. This is one thing I have to try to do before the end of the year gets here, fish for trout in the river. I haven't done it all all. When it comes to trout fishing here i fished in creeks, lakes, canal's, pond, streams and creeks.

I’m fishing with my dad Monday so 5 days from now he’s getting to the point where he’s getting a lot of health issues been doing pouring concrete past 40 years taking its toll on his body he don’t even hunt anymore cause he knees won’t let him climb mountain anymore

That 14in brook trout you caught that would be considered a wall mount for me, the creeks and rivers i trout fish in Wisconsin the biggest one ive caught was 7in so that was a good catch sir

Watch on 2 devices because I can only leave comments on this one. At least the commercials play on both. I am a human being and not a "bot". I watch because I enjoy Fish Hawk's channel so play nice, KZbin! You show twice as many ads (so long as each is less than 5 minutes) as a result. No cause to consequence anyone due to this. This device is only 1080P. The other one is 4K. This is exactly why.

Beautiful brook trout! I have many memories of catching them as a kid at the little stream right across the street from my house! My dad was never very big on fishing, but I spent a number of years helping him train amateur boxers at the various gyms he has run over the years. He's 84 now, and dementia is really starting to affect him, but he still goes to the gym at least 4 days a week. He'll probably die with boxing gloves on, but he'll die doing something he loves.

I'm up in the smokies and will later in the week go to blue ridge. How do I locate spots where fish will hold ? I'm a floridian and this is all foreign to me.
