River gabion installation Part 1 - 'gabion mattress'

Gabions are necessary in this case because a public footpath runs along the top of the river bank.
The river is Tref-y-nant Brook in Acrefair, Wrexham and is next to the Duke of Wellington pub. It's also near the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct over the River Dee, which the brook feeds into.
