Some of my very earliest memories are of camping (often involving a canoe) with my dad, and all the time he spent teacing me about and fostering my passion for the night sky (I became an astronomer bc of those times and now work for a world class institution). The special memories you are creating for your daughter are absolutely priceless. Dads who spend time with their daughters exploring the wilderness are the best. This really warmed my heart.

I've not been subbed for long, but I am impressed. I see U get it! The raw beauty of that petrified wood is fantabulous. We take grandkids out on the Yellowstone when we can. It's about family!
