I do not know how I missed this one. I absolutely love watching you guys work together including Ryder with the garden. Can you grow okra or sweet corn? How about bell peppers? That fishing for Gar was super great action. A gar 50-60 years old is unreal. I really enjoyed this video. I had forgotten about the first video that I saw with the garage no show. Lol

Hey man, I live in SC and our weather is pretty similar to yours. I have found that planting your tomato plants as deep as possible helps during the dry times. Example, I'll use post hole diggers to plant a 14" tall plant 10"-11" deep. The buried branches will root out as well and help pull in water. Just a suggestion, huge fan and keep it up man!!

Awesome video man, that gar was massive! Good looking garden too. I second the Okra recommendation. Pickled okra with garlic and a little spice is the almighty. Good luck!

Muskmelons like heat, okra likes heat... I vac bag(Avid Armor UVS32 chamber sealer) my tomato sauce and freeze it. Pint sized 8x10 x 1 inch thick bags that stack super well in the freezer.

My mom has sprayers on timers and she waters every day it doesn't rain because the soil is really sandy. I miss the old farmhouse. We tore down the fences in the barnyard and changed it into a garden. My dad was able to plow and disc the garden with the tractor after he did the field next door. One hundred year farm so lots of cowcrap in the garden.

Make sure you have a pair of pear trees and apples. They need to cross pollinate with each other to produce fruits the best.

Hot banana peppers / banana peppers in general. Would also be good for canning

For the apple and pear trees, I heard you have to prune them to grow fruit. I'm not a farmer, but that's what I heard.
