River of Giants

A story of the arrival in 1908, and subsequent establishment at Nornalup Western Australia, of pioneers Pierre & Winifrede Bellanger and their family.
Quality is not great, but the best that was available (Perth WA State Referenece Library may have a better copy). Shot on location in Walpole and Nornalup circa 1983 by Barron Films, directed by Paul Barron. Paul, still extant 2024, freely admits that circumstances prevented a better production and sound track, but considerable historical value concerning settlement of the western south coast of Western Australia remains in what you see here.
