I didn't even know BC narrated nature documentaries for the BBC - his voice perfectly matches the ominous tone of the lava destruction. Having been to Hawaii nearly two decades ago with my folks, I saw from a distance the lava flows at night on the Big Island, and the long stretch of glass-like lava rock on the road close to the shore cliffs.
