Ben and David are such good actors that this show kills me. The loss is so sudden to Payton and he fell so quickly that it made it worse. River always seemed so positive and helped others but he didn’t have the ability to save himself. It’s so painful but really well written

When they were talking about river in the second season I started to cry so bad. Like the fact that he was probably straight but just wanted to be liked by everyone by comforting everyone in the only way he knew he could.
