Great video and cool mod!!! Hope the guys at Riversmith see what you’ve done and consider changing their design. Having a rod vault that’s easy to remove would definitely set them apart from the rest of the pack. Riversmith could easily add some evenly spaced 2-3” slots along the entire spine of the middle rail that would solve the problem of having to drill holes. Plus your mod allows you to mount the crossbar pillars first and then you just set the rod vault on top and screw it down!!! For security, you could use some of those secure bolts that have “one off” sockets that only fit those bolts like you see on expensive auto wheels.

This video was extremely helpful as I was considering doing something similar into a T-Slot of my Yakima rack. Only recommendation would be for a better description. I was bored and started watching wondering what the purpose was.... glad I stuck around. Thanks for the info.

Does the river quiver mount fine on the thinner diameter circular rack tubing?
