See the thing is they are not as wild as they should be. When u go on the rapids in the real wild I have seen boats go under the water and people get wet really bad. With these boats it's hit and miss. I mean they are fun either way but I feel like when I went to knotts it was like the first time was meh and then we decided to go again and they had the water turned up to max. So by the 4 ride we were swimming in our clothes and to be honest next time I'll bring a change of clothes for sure especially socks cause I got sick back afterwards and drink a lot of the water from laughing so hard but even with all that it was fun when it's hit or miss not fun I want to really experience the wild rapids when I go on the ride it's more fun that way.

Luckily, this ride is very well designed. I have ridden it at least 10 times in recent years, and I was never really soaked, just a bit wet on the outer layer of clothing. Exactly as it should be. Nobody wants to spend the rest of the day in the park with soaked clothes.

So what I do is: I pack a set of t-shirt and shorts for both the Kali River Rapids at Animal Kingdom or Infinity Falls at Sea World so that after I get partially soaked with my poncho, I can change out my wet clothes and put them in a plastic bag while the rest of the day I wear my dry clothes. Unless you're gonna get splashed by Katina and the other whales, you gotta keep a pair of dry clothes handy for going on water rides.
