River Safari Singapore Info:
The River Safari is a river-themed zoo and aquarium located in Singapore. It is built over 12 hectares (30 acres) and nestled between its two counterparts, the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, Singapore. It is the first of its kind in Asia and features freshwater exhibits and a river boat ride as its main highlights. The safari was built at a cost of S$160m, with an expected visitor rate of 820,000 people yearly.
The Giant Panda Forest was opened to the public on 29 November 2012, with a soft opening on 3 April 2013, attracting close to 1,500 visitors. This attraction is the fourth zoo in Singapore, along with the Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, and Night Safari, all of which are managed by Wildlife Reserves Singapore. The park was officially opened on 28 February 2014, and it was announced that more than 1.1 million have visited the River Safari since its soft opening in April 2013.

What a flawless upload! This is as close as I will ever get to going to this beautifully laid out paradise for a while. I cannot imagine the amount of maintenance work needed on those amazing freshwater exhibits in super-sized tanks. It must have taken some time to edit this one. Thanks Alan for taking us along with you on your River Safari Walking Tour! My most "Kiasinang!" moments were 10:50. Those Giant Catfish looked dangerous to swim close to.15:00.The same could be said about those Giant Sturgeons!17:49 Now that is one chilled out Panda! Pity you don't have any kids Alan. I am sure they would love to follow papa to the Zoo and River Safari.Thanks Alan for all your new videos. Very entertaining and educational! Good stuff! 👍😁

Love the large size aquariums and huge fishes at River Safari. I think the emphasis was on fresh water river size fishes. For bigger size sea creatures I probably have to visit the SEA aquarium. Would love to finally get all the Singapore attraction visits done up 😊

@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV i dont think its about the size of the tank, its because Whalesharks live in Salt water. this is an exhibit for big river species. (i might be wrong tho, Whalesharks might be able to migrate to non salt waters just like bullsharks.)

Thanks for the idea 😊 It's definitely something to explore if a lot of people do own a VR set. I seen the specs for those 360 recorders and as of now, I don't think the resolution matches my requirements. Maybe in another 2-3 years the technology will be much better 😊

Always time to visit another day 😊 In 2022 (maybe later due to the covid situation) there are plans to complete 2 more zoo park attractions. Might be worth to visit all 5 parks over 2 days at that time 😊
