Even before I watch this video, I want to say that I hope you notice River's stage presence. He intentionally will not look at opponents, point out when they make mistakes, at their crazy drops he will drink water or wave at people as if the drops by his opponents are not good enough. He is very intimidating stage presence wise even though he is considered to be very polite in BBx community.

Is he really considered very polite in the community? Like i love him as a beatboxer so much but he always seemed petty and selfish (no hate to him obviously, i've never actually met him and im sure he's a great person)

@@millenial8212 Yeah Yeah, he is. He is like Dlow a lot in that regard. In real life they are good friends with all these people but in battle they absolutely demolish them. Against B-art the counter was just making pure fun of how B-art fucked up. Against footboxg he didnt even pay attention, just did his rounds. Against Hiss you can see he bows to Hiss and they have no issues, but in battle he won't pay attention. D-low used to dance and sing in 2017 and 2018 but in 2019 he never cares for enemies rounds. As far as in real life I have never met him, but through his interviews, interactions with other beatboxers and how Sinjo and all talk about him, he seems like a very serious and straightfoward but respectful person.

his stage behaviour is absolutely unpolite and makes me not like any battles with him. nothing against him, but the way he acts on stage is so annoying

@@hisokabeatbox9053 Remember that it's all an act, and he's not the only one to do it, D-Low, Codfish, Colaps for example did it too. I'm guessing it's not only to be intimidating but also if you focus too much on your opponent's round you might lose focus on what you're gonna do next round too. Plus they can barely hear themselves on stage anyway.

I'd like to let you know that the next GBB will be in 2023 because there were some problems with the way they handle and control the event back in 2021. So, they would like to take the time to make the event better and will be held somewhere in Europe again (Poland and Switzerland for the past few years) in 2023. That means there won't be GBB in 2022.
