I’m guessing this will be the main events for the next episode: 0:01 Cheryl in Pop’s 0:02 Betty making a call 0:03 Gargoyle masker person on the street 0:04-0:05 Jughead and Toni talking in Pop’s. Jughead saying that they are still family. So I’m assuming he wants something from her. And she responding: ‘Not anymore’. And walking off with a brand new ‘Pretty Poisons’ jacket. 0:06-0:07 Veronica and Gladys talking in La bonne nuit. Probably money business. Veronica: ‘This could get messy’. 0:08-0:09 Veronica meeting up with Gladys at the trailer and Gladys says: ‘You’re trying to shake me down?’. 😱 0:10 Archie in the ring trying to win a fight. 0:11 Archie saying to Tom Keller: ‘I need you in my corner’. And he doesn’t seem to go along with that.. 0:13/0:14 Josie and Archie are kissing 0:14 Jughead walking into a creepy room with bones (?) on the ceiling. 0:15 Finally, a scene from what looks like a Farm ritual. (Side note: The Farm only has women in it!). Alice appears to be walking towards a barrel with water where she appears to be baptized but like in even Farm way and not holy. By whom is she being pushed in the water? Maybe Polly? 0:16 A Gargoyle masked man coming in the trailer where he surprises Jughead and Jellybean. Maybe it’s the same Gargoyle masked man as the one in the beginning of the promo... 0:17 Betty running towards (I’m thinking) the Farm. And once arrived screaming: ‘She’s not breathing!!’. Is she referring to Alice? 0:18 The Pretty Poisons ( a new serpent group for Choni) testing their archery skills with Cheryl. 0:20 Hermione lighting a candle at the table for dinner (maybe). With Hiram (who is recovered from his gunshot by the way) walking towards the table and Veronica sitting at the fireplace. I guess The Lodge family is reunited. 0:21-0:22 Gladys and Veronica in the trailer. And Gladys saying: ‘(You) Better sing a ‘Ave Maria’ for mommy’. And that raps it up to Choni cutting off from the serpents and concentrating on their new gang: ‘Pretty Poisons’. Farm-cycle driving Alice to (almost) drown herself and Betty trying to save her. Gargoyle-gang members popping up all places trying to scare the Joneses. Veronica trying to get out of the debt she owes Gladys. Archie stepping up his game in the ring and with his new love interest: Josie. Jughead still trying to figure out what this G&G mess is. And at last: The Lodge family returning to old habits...

No hisses or kisses, however had anyone ever noticed that Cheryl is not the only serpent to have a different colour jacket. Check on Riverdale Season 1 Episode 8. If you pause in the thirty-ninth minute when Fred asks "What if there's trouble?" and FP turns around there is a serpent wearing a Blue Jacket. Also the Leather Jacket had not always been leather, two jackets in this scene were jean jackets and they are proper Serpents and Serpent Jackets. Just letting you know!

I would like to see them have legitimate conflict that extends past an episode like couples like Bughead and Varchie. While they’ve of course been through a lot together as a couple, there’s been no real conflict between them, if that makes any sense?

I do agree, though I'm afraid if they had made the conflict last a while, they would have made it toxic and had someone (probably Cheryl) say something out of pocket, which they've done basically every time Bughead fights. Though it was short, I think the scene did a great job having Toni put Cheryl in her place, and tell her to think more about others, which is kind of what their conflict was about anyway. Besides, Cheryl is probably too afraid of losing Toni to ever stay mad at her, and Toni is too caring and kind to something petty that would extend their conflict.
