I’ve been analyzing everything. Here’s my theory: when Cheryl said those last Abigail words with nana Rose she did a spell. That’s what created this „Rivervale“ universe. That happened at the exact time when the bomb went off, that’s why nothing happened to Betty and Archie. They’re gonna somehow notice and reverse the spell with Sabrina to go back where we left. So in EP6 we‘ll be back at the bomb scene with Betty and Archie. That’s the only logical thing

I feel that Rivervale is actually a vision of cheryl. The wind that carried Abigail's curse swept the ancient founders into a world of destruction and pain. Betty's infertility, Tabitha's neuroses, Antony's illness. I think that when Cheryl realizes how evil her ancestor was she will run for cover, restore the original order and here Riverdale will reopen.

I think this season is an alternate universe of the riverdale universe. Where Cheryl got all the power she controls everyone in that one universe, she can basically do whatever she likes without consequences. I love the path the show is going atm its gross and dark like that is exactly what this shows needs and of course some new mysterious.

6x06 carries on from 5x19… 6x01-6x05 is 5 episode event thingy which is an alternative universe It’s probably a dream or something betty and Archie are having while their in the coma However it might be a spell Cheryl done which created this ‘rivervale’ world but either way it’s still a different reality Reasons- • No way betty and Archie survived the bomb • Archie’s dog was their ( he would be dead ) • It’s now called rivervale instead of riverdale It also explains why betty and Archie are moving on too quick as it’s an alternative they have probably been with each other for a while… And so yes Archie is indeed not dead

Roberto (the showrunner) said that there is going to be a huge bodycount during these Rivervale episodes, even more than usual Riverdale episodes. The reason why Archie was the first one to die is probaly because Kj was going on paternity leave. Having him die in the first episode is their way of explaining why Archie is not going to be in episodes 6x02-6x04. Kj has posted IG bts pics from 6x05 (the 100th episode), so that is most likely the episode he comes back.

Riverdale and Rivervale are from different universes merged by Cheryl's magic. Rivervale is the Archie Horror Universe. All the inhabitants of Rivervale are Witches, except for Archie. That includes Jughead.

Yes Adam we heard the ticking sound..this is either some kind of dream/au or something adjacent to reality, there is no time here, and yes Cheryl is planning shit and this curse is like feeding in the fears/insecurities of the town, they can't seem to get to Archie, which heightens the chance it is happening in his head. It will pick up to normal Riverdale from ep6, and I'm sure every couple is gonna get the required buildup, especially barchie and the bomb is gonna be important. I heard each eps is gonna like anthology,with one recurring theme connecting it all, ep 5, 100th ep of the show is gonna be massive. Putting all this together, this isn't actually bad, because this is Rivervale, they can do anything here, and supernatural stuff exist, it's so much better doing weird shit here than in Riverdale, and this isn't what if tho- like most probably what's happening to the characters is gonna come into play later into s6, so it's not random eps you can just miss or watch, ras confirmed it

I think we will be going back to the night of the bomb after the 5 episode event. We will be back to Riverdale and the writers will link it somehow. We're just going to have to see how it plays out.

I don’t know if y’all noticed this, but just before Kevin called Archie at the end of the episode we saw BOTH ARCHIE AND BETTY sleeping, and then the next second it was only Archie, so basically the last few minutes were just Betty’s or Archie’s nightmare and he isn’t really dead and the sacrifice didn’t really happen🤔

There is one other thing tho 😅, this time the weirdness WAS expected and they are AWARE of it too, all these five eps have horror undertones possibly referencing multiple horror films as well. The writers were very clear these eps would be bonkers. So that's good coz it's not like watching usual Riverdale wtf moments that the writers think would actually happen, this they KNOW it's weird and the vibe is deliberately off and completely wtf and they expect us to be prepared for that 😅 'Normal' Riverdale picks up from ep6, possibly dealing with the bomb, giving an explanation for "rivervale", and then TBK and proper buildup of relationships. Speaking of relationships, DAMN barchie 🔥 Their chemistry just keeps increasing..THAT scene had me blushing actually, CW does not care when it comes to them 😅 and in this world they probably hv been together for a while,hence marriage kids even saying ily wasn't a big deal as it should be.

This is either a dream that Betty or Archie are having while in a coma from an explosion or this is a book that Jughead wrote which explains his narrating. But I think its a dream because it would make perfect sense and make it cannon to the storyline. This episode is really confusing but I truly hope my theory is true because I am not liking this vibe they are giving because I am not a big fan of horror. I am really excited to see what they do with the rest of the episodes and excited to see Sabrina.

For People who dont get it RiverVale is an Alternate Universe. Some of events will lead/foreshadow actual Riverdale. In this Universe they would explore Archie Afterlife which is a series in the Comics. None of this events are actually realistic but some parts will become in near future. Like there speculation that Tabitha and Jughead may move in together in house in Riverdale or Barche baby, bit none of these events have been approve definite. Also yes Archie is dead in this alternate universe.

My theory is that since Archie died in episode 1, the next 3 episodes are going to be deaths of the rest of the core four (Betty, Jughead, Veronica) and then the 5 episode everyone is going to realize that Cheryl has been "brainwashing" them and then Cheryl is going to die and so like the 5 "main" characters will be dead and then they are going to continue from season 5 episode 19. This might be a stupid theory but it kinda makes sense if you really think about it.🤔 But I'm excited for the episodes to come!

I will tell you something Riverdale is that dark only that having a Fanservice and the writers write based on it do not experience, "Rivervale" is the darkness that is how it happens in comics there is one in specific (Blossom 666) where Cheryl manages to convince Dilton to kill Reggie and basically take him to the grove they tie him up, Cheryl seducing Dilton playing with his mind gives him a knife and says "Why don't you come" .... being Rivervale is dark and All the actors are aware of how the series in comics is if it is rare but it is something that sooner or later had to happen because the fanservice began to consume and the writers were already running out of ideas what happens in these chapters are of a alternate universe and does not have to alter the reality that we know from the series That's all and by the way, I don't think Cheryl is the villain for me, Nana is, since 5x03 she was saying that the family and the town were cursed.

Then in just like one episode he decides to join army and didn't even considered to talk to this about veronica and before going he tells veronica that he don't love her he loves betty Then comes back after 7 years and starts living in with betty and then tells betty that he still loves veronica and they broke up and says to veronica that he loves her and he was devastated when he saw ring on her hand and when veronica tells him that she needs time then he goes back to betty to whom he told he doesn't love twice first in season 1 and then again in season 5 .
