So Riverdale took a shocking turn. A good turn. A right turn. It has a decent story line. Character development is back in town. It's back to it's season 1 vibes. This is great news, since I always wanted these vibes back!

my theory is , the writers wrote S1 and died straight after and then that caused CW to hire Ghost Writers and then for the next 3 seasons its a shit show but then turns out the old writers didn't die and they were kidnapped by The CW Boss and then they let them back to write S5 and since they were gone for basically 5 years they decided to do a 5 year gap because they are dumfuqs and so therefore S5 will be like S1 AND ACTUALLY GOOD

The one thing I'm most impressed about is Cheryl. She seems like a normal human with emotions now. Not an alien on drugs. I was most impressed w Madelaine Petsch in the time jump episode I thought you could see development in Cheryl and her acting was very strong. True, but that is because this episode was supposed to be the opener to season 5, but as season 4 was stopped early cuz of covid, they decided to add the remaining 3 episodes to season 5, that is why 5x03 felt like a season finale and 5x04 felt like the season opener. That is why it's slow paced as the writers are trying to show us the new lives of the characters after the time jump.

Ok so let me break down the Riverdale characters and why they are back at Riverdale cuz this is crazy Archie: Was in war in the Army then he got hurt or something and was discharged back to Riverdale Betty: Went to yale then started working at the fbi as a trainee then met a trash bag killer and was traumatized and is seeing a Therapist and in one of the sessions Archie calls her for pops retirement party I guess (damn poor betty) Veronica: I don't even remember where she went to collage but she married a guy named Chadwick (Chad) and I heard he was a serial killer (but we not even gon talk about that) and she got into an accident at work with Chad then she lied to him about where she was working they got into an argument then she went to work and Archie called her for pops retirement party but still #Varchie forever (damn Ronnie did mad stuff in the time jump) Jughead: Went to the university of Iowa became a writer (we all knew he was gon be a writer but) he wrote a book about Him and Betty had a girlfriend who left him I forgot her name (plz forgive me but) he had writers block became FP aka drinking to much went to a bar met a girl who said she loved his book and he was cute or sexy something like that then they had (ya get it) but she was using him just to read her novel and when he finally sat down to read it Archie called him for the party #Bughead forever (but damnnnn jughead been through it 2) Toni: Went to whatever collage came back to Riverdale after that and it was a not even a small town anymore she became serpent queen bought the speakeasy and turned it to the white worm went to see a Cheryl a couple times and lets not forget she got pregnant by a mystery man I heard it was Reggie before she found out he was working for Hiram Lodge (but we not gon get into that) Cheryl: just being Cheryl aka talking about a Blossom curse witch she been talking about since season 1 but she fixed up Thistle house (the hell hole) started painting and Idek what else (Cheryl has official gone mad) but I hope she finds happiness soon #Choni forever Reggie: Became Hiram Lodge's capo Kevin: He went to a school in Pittsburg I think but kept dating Fangs and now works at the white worm with Toni #Kangs forever Fangs: Went to the university of Pittsburg and became a truck driver and plays guitar at the white worm with Toni Hiram: Destroyed Riverdale and is still building so dale Hermione: Became a housewives' of new York Alice: They didn't really show much of her Hal: In hell Penople: In jail Riverdale: just got crazy but I like it But we need #Bughead #Varchie #Choni #Kangs and we need a #Tarchie friendship

Also, the story about the Winchester house Cheryl mentioned is a myth. The woman never believed in such paranormal stuff, the 13 candles etc. were added after her death. She was building the house to give people a job, that's it. But the neighbors called her crazy lady, because she didn't go out a lot due to her disease. Additionally, some windows don't go outside and the chimney doesn't go up the roof because the house was damaged by earthquakes and was partly rebuilt and expanded. The stairs are very small, so the lady was able to walk them (again, due to her sickness).

THEY MESSED UP THE TIMELINE THOUGH. Archie's dad's headstone said he passed on in 2018 or 2019. This was BEFORE the SEVEN year time jump. Veronica said it was 2021 in this episode! This episode was not that good in general. It still was pretty nonsensical and awkward. In that scene with Veronica and her husband at dinner, it was funny how she was awkwardly holding her glass. About 38 percent of this episode was still typical Riverdale. I hope the next episodes are worse so I can enjoy the show more. I don't want people to stop making Riverdale cringe compilations. Please don't stop making these montages! There is still material in the show to humorize. Side note: That girl hitting on Jughead was disgusting. I didn't want to see all that. EDIT: I was not criticizing you putting the clip of them together in your video. I was talking about the show in general.

Finally someone said it. It’s all so disconnected the time jump doesn’t make sense. And excuse me but what war has archie been in? Did I miss something? The timeline is so messed up. How can you write a show without knowing the exact time position of the story? The whole story would be messed up You can’t say they’re in 2021 and make them act like they’re in 1945 A good show has a timeline, Riverdale doesn’t and never had one
