I think the main problem with Riverdale is how they introduce these insanely dramatic and terrible crimes and hype it up but in the end, it's just some random person who has the vaguest reason to have committed the crimes. They're so obsessed with tricking the viewers with plot twists so much that half of them don't even make sense and it's just super underwhelming, and for a show that takes itself so seriously season 5 was such a nonsensical dissapointment.
