+Gogol ginn You realise the point of folk/country dancing, right? The idea is that anyone can jump in and get stuck in and everyone dances with everyone. That way newcomers are introduced to the entire community in a fun environment and then afterwards you can speak to them and remember eachother from the dance.

The only thing that needs to be added to this video is Wash saying "I am a leaf on the wind; watch how I soar." when it shows Serenity charging towards the Alliance Fleet with the Reavers pouring out of the clouds after it.

I disagree. It sounds very much like it but seems to be missing half the song. This piece is likely heavily influenced by The Sailor's Wife but made for the series.

this video is FANTASTIC...I agree with it capturing the "feel" of the show perfectly, and River's dance is probably one of my favorite scenes of the entire series (and I love the song)and the way you cut the scenes of Serenity, its as though the ship is dancing...

I love the whole dancing sequence. The way you cut it together, and the music itself, makes you think of the show as a dance between the characters. I can't wait to watch the episodes with this point of view in mind. Thanks. :-) Btw, I favorited your "Can't Take the Sky" video, which I like possibly even more (a little tiny bit more) than this one. :-)

damn i love this scene. i'm pretty sure this is one of the only two scenes in the series where River is actually happy. This, and her playing with Kaylee. makes me smile every time i see it. always heartwarming to see someone as traumatized as River actually finding a moment of peace and happiness. also goes to show how good of an actress Summer Glau is. That smile i felt was genuine :)
