@@justicewarrior9187 And if you think the Amazon is scary, don't even think about the Congo, where there are lions, hyenas, cheetahs, wild dogs, elephants, bull sharks, hippos, rhinos, crocodiles, cobras, adders, black mambas, pythons, scorpions, baboon eating spiders and worst of all... MOSQUITOS. The mosquitos will probably get to you before anything else. And if not with Malaria, then Dengue fever, or some other kind of blood-borne virus, which kills millions each year. You'll probably contract Ebola or something nasty. The Congo is literally parasite city. Plus you'll get hunted by African bushpeople/tribesman who may, or may not be, cannibals. Personally, I'd opt for the Amazon over the Congo to be honest. Just saying...

Vegans: I love nature, I love animals because they are mellow creatures that's why i don't want them to suffer Nature:
@theburningman50474 жыл бұрын
We are part of nature also, don't pretend to be a saint here. We can be just as gruesome and awful as these fish, still it's part of it all and it's nothing out of the ordinary that animals eat our pork tasting meat. We are animals as well, and as much as I love eating meat, I should expect to get eaten while I'm hunting just because I'm probably not the only Hunter that is in search for food. Nature is gruesome in order to keep everything in balance, this failed with us humans and our rapid increase in numbers, but I guess we'll see what the virus will do about that
@JA-xv3qp4 жыл бұрын
Lol as a vegan myself I was actively LOOKING for this comment. So true!! But I don't actually think we really believe that animals out there are mellow, I'm sure everyone knows full well what savage world this is.

@theburningman50474 жыл бұрын
@SAMUEL NAUMETS No, we kill people because we get to that point when we reach insanity, when we get greedy and power hungry, when we are enraged, drugged or even when we are scared..... You don't seem to get it, sure we don't kill to keep the population in balance because we want it that way, we do it because we are humans. Ignorant, selfish, brutal bastards, willing to crush anything and anyone to get wealth, power, knowledge, sex, respect. Humans are ripping each other apart by the second, it is not really a way for nature to balance itself out, it is just humanity seing only itself and ignoring the rest. Ignoring other people and animals? Easy to do that really, over 70% of people are assholes on this planet, a waste of space trying to ruin the lives of others, I'm not different here. I care about humanity because of the few people that are actually good and worth something. For all I care all the bad ones can perish

I live in the New England area in northern NSW, in Australia. I have watched your show for years, as i am an avid fisherman, and have been fishing freshwater for over 30 years now. My specialty is Murray Cod, along with rainbow, brown and brook trout, yellowbelly/golden perch, and Australian bass to name a few of the species we get here. I have to ask Jeremy, have you ever caught a Murray Cod? They get huge here, over a meter long, and upwards of 100kg in some cases. I have personally seen them take adult ducks from the surface, and there has been reports they have tried to drag Joeys (baby kangaroos) from the bank while drinking. Might make a decent episode if you ever decide to do one in Australia that doesn't involve Barramundi. An Aussie fan.
