It is very ok for people to have varying positions on issues and that's what democracy is about so that the majority of those views will be taken more like the consensus of the people. What you have in Rivers state is a failure of state institutions like the police, Judiciary and electoral commission to do their job unbiased. If these institutions play their part, there won't be crises. I am not interested in having a person that the whole state rallies around during crises. That person might end up too powerful and become another godfather soonest.
