Imma keep it real: I was close to popping OFF when I heard this. I had beaten P5 before I played this game and Rivers was easily my favorite song in the entire OST. This game, Akira just casually says his line of "There aren't any real heroes left." That guitar hits one note and I _instantly_ start getting hype as SHIT. This game is a masterpiece. Persona 5 is a masterpiece. Easily my favorite game ever made. So much fun and style.

Honestly one of the coolest intro to a boss. Just the perfect build up and hype He walks off and reveals a mech. Then the music starts, it sounds familiar at first, then it just clicks in your brain. Then as the music builds up, a badass set of armor starts appearing on Akira as he ascends to his mech. FInally, the lyric starts the when the cutscene fades out and the fight starts.

Konoe and Shido are literally different (I am glad they are) Konoe wanted to be a hero for the people in needs (because he truly wanted to help but was doing it in a wrong way, that's why he's a Monarch and not a Palace Ruler). On the other hand Shido wanted to rule on everything and on everyone, abusing not just of the metaverse by killing his threats but his role of politician as well against people (Ex when he managed to arrest the MC)

Definitely like both versions of this song. The original has a melody during the lyrics that builds up to the climax, but Strikers' chorus SERIOUSLY pops off much better. The latter comes out as more explosive, especially when the beat changes during the second verse. By the third chorus, the song rides that hype train to the end. Bring those two elements (P5's buildup with Strikers' explosive chorus segments) together, and it'd be perfect, IMO.
