Welcome to Revive! In our ‘More Than Tongues’ learning series, we’ve been learning about the depth of the Holy Spirit and how He moves in our lives. In order for the Spirit to operate within us, He must first abide in us, and that is brought about by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Bible gives us a concise guide on what it means to be baptized, into salvation in Christ, into water, and into the Spirit.
God has made His Holy Spirit available to each and every one of us, just as He has made salvation available through His Son. Spiritual baptism isn’t to be mysticized or made strange, but today we learn about the biblical standard by which the Holy Spirit is willingly invited into our lives. If you feel empty and powerless, invite the Holy Spirit into your life today and see what God has in store for you.
