Sadly, Nigerians think that Democracy is political drama. Here in Canada, Democracy and politics are about job creation, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services. State and Federal leadership focus on economic well-being of the State, instead of Party politics. Economic well-being enhances quality of life, breeds happiness and contentment, and brings peace and security. This is what makes a society Advanced. Sadly, Nigerian media does not know that every time a Governor talks, they must answer questions about how they are improving the life of their people by creating jobs, increasing industrial activities, boosting food production, and improving social services. A Governor is no longer an actor in a political drama or party politics. He is a steward of a State.
