Feel special is song about how they treat each other and they dedicated this song to mina who suffer anxiety. Actually mina is in the music video but exempted to their live performance because she is still recovering from anxiety 😊 thank you for reacting

well recently, jyp finally said that this song actually he wrote with sana in his mind, the time he wrote this song is exactly after the instagram controversy when sana posting about appreciating the end of heisei era and welcoming reiwa era in japan, and that post becoming a huge controversy in korea, almost all major media attacking her, some of them even forcing jyp to kick all of the Japanese member out of twice.. after the clash, twice instagram account been inactive for a couple of weeks, but they refuse to apologize as many media demand them to do, and i believe sana is feeling so depressed about this incident, bcs we rarely seeing her after that, and when she finally make an appearance, she looks so scared with all of her surrounding, then mina also feeling the same.. there's also some footage that shows sana completely changed into another person, her smile was gone, she just keep lookin down or just spacing out.. it was a terrible time for all once's...

I feel like a song reaction wouldn't be complete without understanding the lyrics. The song was actually quite deep. It talked about the members' fears, emotions, anxieties, mental health and then gratitude to fans and then each other. Especially that one of them just came back from her hiatus, due to severe anxiety, just to shoot the video. If you look closer, the music video itself has a lot to say. Well, I guess if you really aren't much that of a fan of Twice, you would not understand just how much of an emotional ride this whole comeback was. This year was a bit of hell for them and their fans. I feel like this was their most special and most important video to date. I guess, as a fan, that's why I get a bit sensitive about this particular song. I usually don't care if Twice isn't other people's cup of tea as long as I enjoy being their fan, I'm good with that. But to each their own. Anyway, Have a great day!

With Mina's scene being a green turquoise mythical forest, it was inspired by Once during a concert when they waved the sticks in the air to support Mina when she was on leave due to her anxiety disorder. This is one of many significant features that were in the video and the lyrics are just *chef kisses*

But they‘re both usually singing the chorus and therefore in the center during that part. Because Jihyo is twice‘s main vocal and Nayeon the lead vocal. Don’t really know about their dancing positions but Momo is the main dancer and you often see her doing the dance breaks or like here being in the center during the outro.

This is a special song for Twice cause they're coming from a moment when one of the members had a "mental breakdown" and is away from the all group activities for a while. Their company produced this song after talking to each member and asking them what makes them "feel special" whenever these bad moments come. The member who is away (Mina, the one in the Avatar florest) came back specially to film this MV cause it's so meaninful to all of them.

the meaning of the song is really important; jyp himself wrote it after he sat down with twice for dinner and asked them about their 4 years together, and everything they said he then put into the song. it’s about how they make each other feel special, whereas before and when they’re alone they might feel unimportant or like nothing. it’s especially powerful as mina is on hiatus for an anxiety disorder and the other girls have opened up about struggling with similar feelings too and trying to support her and worrying about letting fans down. it’s a song for twice, about twice. and all the girls also participated in writing all the new bsides on their album. it’s their most personal album yet, but yeah they’re “cutesy” i guess.

I mean I absolutely bloody love this song even if I didn't know the lyrics or any context in regards to Twice. But with lyrics, urgh it's amazing and heartfelt. This song is about them struggling over the past 4 years despite the happy look they gave us, the tiredness, no sleep, the haters attacking them, they got dragged into political issue, dating news, anxiety attack and yet they have each other and the fans who makes them feel special and have purpose to keep continue. Plus so many symbolism in this mv, with the doll house cos Momo love dolls and she always felt lonely but these dolls are there to accompany her or something like that. Sana part is about her gloomy day where she got attacked by korean for posting about her country japan. Also this is not cute though if you compare it to TT or Knock Knock or Likey or What is Love

The song was written by JYP based on their stories and struggles throughout the years. For example Mina’s part talks about her wanting to hide from the world due to her anxiety. Sana talks about her controversial social media post. Everyone has their part in the mv.

You'd probably like both this mini-album (Feel Special) and 'Fancy You' more than the title tracks. They get to experiment and do more mature concepts with less wider appeal for their B-sides, and they also write just about every B-side themselves now (I think only 5 tracks total in the last 3 albums weren't written by twice members)! Tracks like 'Hot', 'Girls Like Us', 'Love Foolish', and 'Get Loud' are among my favourite twice tracks just from the last 2 albums alone! Their next Japanese album also features the first production credits from a member as well, so it's great seeing them become more and more personally involved in their music and image.

you’d love the song even more if you knew this bit of information about the music video: mina, the girl in the forest seemingly looking lost, has been going through a tough time recently with anxiety disorder. she hasn’t participated in any promotions for ‘fancy’ or ‘feel special’. including her, all the girls have gone through things this year as a whole. i know you guys don’t react to vids with subtitles, but the lyrics play a huge part in guiding the music video along. this was a very emotional era for the girls and the message that this song brings is all about having each other through those tough times. they make each other *feel* *special* . if you rewatch, turn on the subs and pay attention to each member. they’re all alone, but by the end, you can see that each member has found another (:
