1916 & 1924 are a huge part of my childhood, I look forward to seeing the museum again next year.

Why did the diesel #940 follow the #1924 & its train, is the 1924 unable to be turned on one of the turntables?
@BadgerlandRailVideos2 ай бұрын
@@robertlucido3686 Correct, 1924 does not fit on the existing Hyde Park (east end) turntable, so the diesel tied on to lead the train back.

Hey man I'm desperate to ride a steam engine in wjnsconsin but its impossible because they destroyerd all there railways especially Milwaukee :/ do you know a place?
@BadgerlandRailVideosАй бұрын
Aside from this one, there's the Whiskey River Railway in Marshall (also miniature sized, 16" gauge instead of 15" like this one) and the Laona and Northern's "Lumberjack Steam Train" in Laona. Not far south of the state line is the Illinois Railway Museum in Union which currently has two operational steam locomotives. However, most of that is currently shut down for the winter season apart from a couple of weekend "Santa Train/North Pole Express" type events. I know R&GN is having one coming up later this month.

When Will The 82 And The 98 Run Again?
@BadgerlandRailVideos2 ай бұрын
@@elleryparsons2433 82 ran yesterday for a triple-header with all three ex-Milwaukee Zoo steam locomotives. I'm told 98 is currently undergoing a rebuild.
