It would be good to have a 'Create Clip' option just by selecting a portion of the timeline. Duplicating every recording is cumbersome.

You can do this by highlighting over the text, and selecting "keep only this" :)

@@Riversidefm true but that does exclude the rest of the video. Instead creating a clip in the background would be an ideal option.
