the last decade I've been interested in designing a new classical guitar because it's been the same since the days of Torres... mostly drawings nothing serious. I've noticed, the top is like a Congo drum and flexes when strings are strummed. improvement is needed there. I still don't understand why they make a sound hole above the strings and why the top isn't made more flexible like a speaker diaphragm... anyway, I'm glad for riversong and his breakthrough in sound technology...I'm in the west coast of Cali and would love to hear your new model guitar maestro!

Congratulations on your well deserved award from the custodian of one of your Tradition Canadian Special Editions. I agree with your point that it will outlast us, hence I see myself more as a custodian for someone who can use it better than I, rather than the role of its owner... BTW, enjoyed the Tour and showing a little how they are built.

Oh I so wish I could afford one of these unfortunately with $50 in my pocket that's not going to happen as I sold my guitars some years ago to pay for bills and never bought another one but they are amazing very very cool maybe one day but not today 😞

We have been building this style since 2011, although we are constantly improving and developing our design, we have worked very hard to eliminate the “bugs”. We are also expanding our operations to accommodate the demand.

Great design and tone…..but why is the neck of this acoustic guitar thinner than even most electric guitars at the nut!? What’s the rationale?

Our standard neck is the same as many other guitars, The nut width is 43mm. The shape of our guitar neck and radius is much more like an electric. String spacing at the nut is the same as other popular acoustic guitars.

@ 1 5/8 listed on your website specs is 41.275mm. Not much room for string spacing for fingerpicking or interesting jazz chords. All the mainstream acoustic models moved to 1 3/4 with some vintage slope shoulders and such staying at 1 11/16 for nostalgia’s sake. Maybe you should consider offering these options and potentially expand your market appeal.Your design and craftsmanship will do the rest! Or you will be the Rickenbacher of acoustics….hope I am wrong.

I like the guitar and the great idea with the movable fretboard. What I really don't like is the name Riversong, River sounds better to me or other, but thats me being sqeamish.
