#spoiler about the 4th Ending: - - - - - - - - - - - It's basically Playwright POV. He has some kind of Arts that can let him manipulate reality with his writting. He can make anything come true via his writting. Basically a self insert author So all these time, the 3 Endings we encountered are just him prepare for us. It's all according to his script. The last line is " How do you find this Ending, Troupe Leader? " is literally saying Phantom's event happen is because of this guy writting. Phantom is never truly escape. The Crimson Troupe will and always watches him.

Also appearantly , Miss Christine is also very OP here. She is the only one who can counter the Playwright Arts as according to him " Miss Christine is the secondary character. The secondary character that should not appear, things that should not happen, obstacles that should not be there. And choices that should not be made. " She immune to the Playwright thus she can call for RI help to rescue Phantom (Playwright intial script is only Phantom and Shalem, the RI is out of his story) leading the playwright had to change some parts in the story.

People say the Seaborn are the Lovecraftian horrors of the Arknights universe. And aesthetically, they may be right. But in my opinion this OST and by extension everything Crimson Troupe-related, is what truly captures the "sanity loss" atmosphere of Lovecraft. Phantom's massacre of the Troupe as first seen in his files, is inspired by SCP Foundation's "Tragedy of the Strangled King," which is in turn based on "The King in Yellow." Theatre and art has always have a place in the Cthulhu Mythos universe, and everything in IS2 speaks true to that aspect.

The language that the lyrics use might be a fictional Gallic language, which the country "Gaul", the setting of IS2, in game is based on France, which is why it sounds like French. Just like in the R6S collab where Tachanka said that the Ursus language is similar to Russian but both of them are two different languages

This song can sound a bit repetitive at some parts, but I think it perfectly suits this very pretty man, as one of his animations has his eyes do some kind of hypnotism. And repetitive music can get you feel “hypnotized.” At least that's what I think. Overall it took a while for this music to grow on me, but after some more listens it definitely sounds catchy. It's an eerie music with some orchestra mixed in, giving off opera-vibes. Really like it!

I hate to be that guy, but this song is actually less real repetitive than almost all pop and rap today. The song structure is as follows: Opening-chorus-chorus-verse-breakdown-verse-ending. In music these days you'll often hear verse-chorus 3 or 4 times. In this song is doesn't even play the the verse-chorus 2 times.

I mean weird flex but Ngl I would do the same but here’s a fact. (Spoilers since it’s based on what he is) That feline is the play writer. Aka the person who literally created all the three endings and in a nutshell. He’s that powerful that he made those endings for phantom to overcome and deal with so later he can physically meet the actual man behind the stringers. The play writer is legit that powerful since he made ever scenario and basically how our rouge like mode is Just him writing on what outcome would’ve happened. We just happened to Intervine his action from what I assume (it’s a cn thing so global hasn’t have this yet) is legit breaking the fourth wall of the play writer narrative scheme. And we fight him cause phantom was tired of the play writers bullshit lol. But In the end no matter what. The crimson troupe will always control phantom no matter what cause of that feline boy and his power. In a nutshell he’s a puppet master pulling the strings. But yea if we somehow convince him to join. We would essentially have the most powerful caster or supporter unit. But he does look cute tho. Also it’s a reason why Christine (the lady and also the black cat we see with phantom) was able to call for help to save phantom from the play writer. Christine isn’t being controlled by the writer. So she can call on his bs. As for shalem (recruiter when playing the game more) was a friend of phantom so he knows what was up. So yea. Moral of the story. Don’t fuck with the play writer cause he’s literally the master mind. But he’s so cute tho lol
