She no doubt appreciates the irony of how her finally finished vendetta against Theresa's assassins just spawned a new one against _her._ Probably told the kid to grow big and stronk and come at her any time they felt ready to settle accounts in the future.

@Lin-cr8fc basically in Sarkaz merc culture, picking up the weapon of a fallen Sarkaz means you are "picking up" what they left behind spirituality- responsibilities, promises, legacy, even names sometimes Sarkaz mercs also tend to carry daggers, and these daggers are commonly the weapon of choice for this "ceremony"

...that's W with the crayon tho. This seems to be the period post Babel and pre Reunion when she was hunting down Theresa's assassins (and going rather insane, Hoddy and Ines were legit shocked by her state when they met her again); she seems to have been using it to keep a tally or something. Dropping it signifies the task is finally over and done with pretty much. Anyway as we learned in _Darknights_ the weapons of the fallen have great symbolic significance in Sarkaz warrior traditions or something; case in point W inherited her name from the _previous_ W, evidently a colleague of H and I, due to lootgoblining his phat lewts immediately before her first meeting with the pair. This also obliquely comes up in some of her personal story vignettes also involving children.

The story of W is more about tragedy of the Sarkaz race. To save the Sarkaz from unending war, Theresa is willing to even leave the Kazdel, yet she still gets assasinated by her own older brother Theresis. Looking back, both of them has sweared to lead the Sarkaz together, yet they was separated. The original W was killed, and then the current W inherited the will to continue working with Hoederer and Ines. After so many struggles, she finally met Theresa and had a place to call home. Then everything was shattered: Theresa's death, Tower of Babel's collapse, and even more fatal is that the people behind this scheme is none other than Theresis - Theresa's relative and Doctor - who Theresa trusted the most. She followed Theresa's idea to end the war, yet after seeing the person she loved die, she turned into a psychopath and started killing even more people. I won't argue who she killed is innocent or not because they are not, but killing cycle keeps continuing. When W faces that girl at the end, she smiled. She smiled her own fate. She was once a victim of the war, and now she created the same hell. She is no short of a victim that turns into a criminal.

the Nearl sisters events have one of such scene, tho not showed properly, an infected knight using wind arts at a certain point go beyond limit and start basically causing a localized tornado Arts Wands and staff usually have limit due the fact that such power will cause oriphaty in the caster Infected do have more power in art casting, but at that point they will advance their priphaty esponentially

we really need 3D anime in this quality, especially action shows. 3D anime has a bad reputation, but stuff like this, houseki no kuni, girls band cry etc shows how much potential it has. too much 3D anime tries to go low FPS to make it look like 2D but it just falls flat, this on the other hand is amazing.

Ну и факт того, что в конце дочь подняла нож отца уже против W, а как мы знаем из лора, если ты берёшь оружие павшего сарказ то ты перенимаешь его судьбу. Возможно мы увидим мелкую в следующих эвентах.

Between her established character, her own background, her known behaviour around other children in comparable situations and the symbolic significance of picking up the weapons of the fallen in Sarkaz warrior traditions (she inherited her name that way from a deceased comrade of Hoddy and Ines, recall) she most likely told the kid to grow up, get stronk and come after her any time they felt capable of actually carrying out their vendetta.
