Ótima entrevista… S. C. Sempre demonstrou autenticidade e transparência em suas entrevistas ao longo dos anos, é difícil um artista se consagrar e permanecer original em seus atos . Admiro muito isso nela 🙌

Mayallfan: here's what Sheryl said two weeks ago: "I have a record finished and hopefully it’ll be out by next spring."

Because it was a good way to gain experience as a vocalist. Young background vocalists do ANY kind of audition. The most important thing is working and build up experience along with a good reputation. Maybe she needed money, too. Who knows? Just before the Bad Tour Sheryl Crow worked in Missouri as a music teacher for children and autistic children.

I am even surprised that Molly Meldrum just accepted that, being a friend of Michael's himself.

I had read that she was an elementary school teacher. But I didn't know that she worked with autistic children. That's interesting. Good for her.

I think you're right. It's definately important to be established. I understand that she had done some jingles for fast-food restaurants prior to touing with Michael. But I stand by what I said. I don't think she appreciated and therefore didn't deserve the oppertunity she was given. And her opinion of Michael was always different depending on her position at the time; touring with him: positive, established and independent: negative, after he died: positive again. Rather inconsistant.

I don't mean to criticize Sheryl Crow, I know very little about her. But she did claim for years that Michael Jackson never bothered to spend any time with the band or performers of the Bad Tour. But Michael thanked the band by name every night they performed. She claimed that she and the others felt alienated by Michael's apparrent lack of interest in them, but don't forget that Michael was a constant target and being that way must make it difficult to trust people you don't know well.

Now that the Showtime documentary is out, viewers can see how the Bad Tour had dual meaning for Sheryl. It was indeed a big break, but perhaps her background (& preference for) performing in small bands made it difficult to transition to being in the "B-camp" combined with the glaring spot light of planted gossip that she was dating Michael & offered $2mil to have his baby. Then there was Michael's manager, Frank DiLeo who was sexually harassing her throughout the tour & threatening to end her career. And when she consulted a high-powered entertainment lawyer, was basically told: "Stick it out"

She also claimed that she didn't enjoy the show, she even said so on this interview; that a set spectacular show such as his "wasn't her thing" yet during interviews from the time she acclaimed his performance and the show as a whole. "It's an incredible show...I wish I could stand out front and watch". And, if it wasn't her thing then why did she bother auditioning for the show?!? An audition which she crashed by the way. She took advantage of the oppertunity yet she still criticizes it!
