How did you hard wire into the truck’s always-on 12v system? Does the truck correctly monitor the 12v battery SoC and recharge if it gets low?

? It's not hurting the battery. Battery provides power, that's the point. The Rivian re-charges the battery off the high voltage battery automatically. Works great!
