The Qatar route is much better even if someone is going to dubai because that road is much smoother I have driven to Dubai 3 times from Riyadh.. i have used that route twice

Thank you dear Yes i came to know very late that we can turn towards dubai and here is one petrol pump Now means likes 300 km k baad petrol pump hai koi na koi so its safe distance for small vehicles as well

Thanks for sharing your trip, I am just a little bit confused, I am planning to take my first road trip to Oman from Jeddah. Can you guide the key road points from Riyadh to Salalah if possible or if to Muscat only. I noted Riyadh to Al Kharj to Al Batha after that I am a bit confused.

Hi Thank you for the comment To salalah Riyadh to al kharj to batha towards rubal khali border then towards haima and then salalah For muscat Riyadh to al kharj to al batha then towards rub al khali border then to ibri to nizwa and then to muscat But its always better to take over night stay somewhere as its a very long route
