Here’s a theory: Seek was toying with you on floor 1, testing out your skills, seeing if he needs to get serious. In floor 2, it’s clear seek is starting to get serious as he appearing 3 TIMES and took over Grumble. I also think Seek is responsible for making screech from giggle as they look very similar. The way he appears at the end of floor 2 confirms he is the main villain of DOORS. Also there is extra evidence from the eye in the name. Seek will definitely be in almost every floor because he is a recurring villain like Figure. Except figure is stuck in the mines, and Seek is not. TLDR: Seek is the true villain of doors, and he is hunting you down.

free guide :) Rush - Goes 2 doors forward, slightly slower in the mines (due to room size and their specific route). Screech - Spawns everywhere (except Seek Chases). Giggle - Spawns on the roof, throw something at it, if caught get a friend to pull it off in multiplayer. In single player, shake your screen rapidly, it can be stunned by any light source (for glowsticks you need to snipe it). Gloombats - Will attack if you use a light whilst they are swarming you. Can be avoided by placing glowsticks and staying near them whilst using a light source. If you step on their eggs, one breaks free and bites you for 10 dmg. Each Gloombat does 10 dmg a bite. Screech Clump - Cosmetic. Dupe - Crucifix Anim and Jumpscare Anim tweaked, after being Crucified, a room with living walls will take his place (no special drops). Eyes - Now teleports to position itself infront of the player, can't teleport into ladders or other structures player might need to use, it can greet you after though. Hide - Figure Minigame has been added. Gets harder overtime to get you out. After exiting a locker/closet, Hide stays there, attacking you if you try re-entering. Halt - Chase has been extended to the length of a large mines room (takes 2-3x longer) in which you navigate your way through while Halt is chasing you. Chase room in the Hotel was reworked to a Café. Ambush - Start-up sound is slightly quieter, goes 2 doors forwards now and is slightly slower in the mines (due to the room sizes and the specific path routes they are given). Figure - Spawns every once in a while, same mechanics as previous Figure, however his walking anim was changed so his arms don't sway, making survival in small rooms easier. His screech can be heard a few rooms before, aswell as a few rooms after his encounters. 🌟 Grumble - Can't fit in small spaces (edge of cave, safe rooms, code breaker rooms), although they are faster than the player by around 15-20%, it can be slowed by shining a light in its face. 50% Dmg, if you camp a small space it will run into the shadows and despawn (will respawn in the shadows or when minigame is completed, or under the circumstance if you hear his laugh). 🌟 Seek - Chase A) Jumping mechanic added, currently slightly buggy, failure of last jump is intentional (cutscene), leads into the Minecart Chase, which includes crouching and turning (HOLD THE BUTTON). Leads into Grumble.🌟 - Chase B) Sewer Chase, similar to Door 60-88 chase in the Hotel, however the Guiding Light is quite useless in this, so pay attention to the light on the ground it emits infront of you, not the sparkles, or just use a flashlight/floodlight (NB- this may have been changed). 🌟 Hotel Seek - Chase was made smoother, aswell as fixing animations and better hitboxes. 🌟 Snare - Added to Courtyard and Courtyard Basement. 🌟 Dam Seek - The Floor is Lava, but super easy. If you die here then idrk what to tell you. If you must know, you need to find wheels and avoid falling into Seek, or being sniped by him.🌟 Firedamp - No Lights in these rooms (specifically Flashlights and Lighters), using one will make you explode (one shot). 🌟 this was your completed doors guide for Floor 2 Update (on release) by TwentyTwenty200 :)

You can use lights in firedamp rooms but not candles or lighters since they make a spark or are on fire already Also the screech clumps dont actually do anything i think, just decoration from what i can tell Edit:also the heartbeat mini game has been removed and you only get one shot by the giant worm on phase 3 of dam seek. Idk about the hands or the other thing but you don’t get oneshot if you fall into the liquid

You can also shine a light at a Giggle to blind/stun them. There's also a laser pointer item which was made for the Giggles' and it stuns them for the longest (I think), with the next longest being the Bulk Light Edit: I tested it, and all the lights stun the giggles' for the same amount of time.

Seek, in the final boss form, is actually his normal form. He is a hive-mind and can access the hotel through drains and other things. That’s why, after the Hotel + update there were less eyes in the rooms along with the blob coming out the ground which summoned the human seek. That’s why in the mines there are more eyes since you are closer to the hive-mind.
