I have listened to this song non-stop for the past 12 hours literally! This ministers to my spirit right now in 2023! Its so much I have been through this past year I felt like throwing in the towel frfr. I'm so glad TROUBLE do not last always, I have to keep the FAITH. Wait on God & trust him, MYMYMY! Drink a cup of water and wait on Jesus, get in my easy chair and wait on Jesus, get me a cup of coffee and wait on Jesus, lay in my bed and wait on Jesus, light a candle and wait on Jesus ministers to my soul. I know god has not brought me this far to leave me, so I am going to wait on Jesus!

Still one of my favorites!!! When I didn’t fully understand the power of faith, God allowed me to hear this song. That was at least 25 years ago. In 2023, when feeling discouraged, I play this song because it ministers to me. Its the anointing that destroys every yoke. The lyrics symbolize a hammer breaking down the walls of doubt. I love the song, but the testimony is flawed. When David said I waited on the Lord, he wasnt lounging around he moved into position and waited for instruction. But he was prepared. We, as Christians, have a theology that doesn't line up with our faith. We sing faith and operate in fear. Faith calls man to action not inaction.
