I think you may have put the washer back in the wrong place? I'm just doing one of these on a 207 at the moment and I'm sure that the washer was installed between the top plate and the white plastic spring retainer?

Very good and instructive but I just wondered when you put the 19mm shouldered nut on top of the strut how far down is it tightened? Does it bottom out?

I always tighten them to the last thread.

Hi mate, i can’t get the top bolt to move even with Allen key in place with a spanner? Any ideas? Thanks

Are you on about Central nut or three small bolds

Central bolt. It never came so I had to grind the disc away to remove the strut.. now I have to split the nut as it’s siezed. Real mother f#%ker
