The A symbolism is pretty interesting and is actually something that carries over for the rest of the series and has constantly been theorized about. The meaning of it here is a lot more straightfoward though as it shows the huge difference between now and the start of the season. Remember that back at Terminus, everybody was herded into a train car labelled with an “A”, and having the letter go from representing a group who showed how depraved people can be to representing a group trying to restore a sense of humanity is just neat, especially with the way certain characters like Rick and Sasha pick up on it (though they react very differently when the memories come back 😅)

A lot of people mistake Rick putting his hand on his gun at the end of 5x13 as him knowing something is up, but it’s confirmed at the end of 5x14 that he doesn’t know fully since Carol has to tell him. Him considering taking out Pete there is a reference to when Shane drew on Rick in the woods back in season 1 (Shane and Rick both thinking about taking another man’s wife shows Rick has definitely changed quite a bit…though at least in Rick’s case we find out it’s a little justified 💀) Anyways, I’m glad y’all are enjoying this arc, I told you it was peak! The next two episodes are 🔥 as well, the culminations of the storylines and end to a lot of people’s arcs comes together so good and of course…Rick Grimes has two of his most iconic scenes coming up 🙏

Comic Comparisons : The party goes down exactly the way it does on the show except it’s not Sasha who blows up because she doesn’t exist in the comics rather it’s Michonne.

Noah getting taken out by walkers is probably still one of the most memorable scenes in the show because it’s up there as one of the goriest scenes in the series. I will say though, I do think just like Beth, this happened a bit too soon. Considering that Beth really got herself shot when his freedom was at stake, the fact that bro didn’t even survive the season is kinda disappointing imo. They literally gave bro some interesting plot beats with the architecture stuff and then immediately ended it before it could start 💀 Unironically, even though I don’t hate her as much as yall do, I think Tara had Noah should’ve swapped positions. With how little I feel she offers the show going forward (aka after seasons 4 & 5), I do think her getting munched in the revolving doors would’ve been better, while Noah gets to grow more as a character. What happens to Noah does affect Glenn going forward, but Tara would’ve impacted him more considering how much they traveled together and how she helped him in finding Maggie. Another thing that yall might not know is that apparently Tara was actually only supposed to be in THREE episodes back in season 4 (the two Governor episodes and Too Far Gone), then supposedly get taken out offscreen like her sister did…just imagine if the writers followed through with that 😅
