THANK YOU for doing most of the building tutorial without flying so much. It's frustrating watching people build survival houses in creative mode since they're usually much harder to build without creative flight.

Can you please build a modern house next, but this time if you could add some red concrete in some way, anywhere around the house, that would be cool to see.
@critJonesАй бұрын
Okay let me break this down and answer everyones confusion! At the start the 19x14 is the total blueprint of the house. So you clear out a 19x14 square, your roof sticks out 1 block from the wall so your next square 9x11 needs to be in at least 1 block in from your outer square (which is the back of your house). Your entrance will be on the 11 block side with lots of room. Once you've determined your 2 outlines dig 1 deep in your 9x11 area leaving dirt for the four corners. Come one block in and dig 8x10 1 block deeper, this is your birch floor. You will need 10 addition deepslate blocks. The material list is correct but for your sanity bring 10 more. The rest of the tutorial is easy once you get past foundation. Thank you Rizzial.

The materials list shows the exact number of blocks in the completed build but doesn’t account for blocks that were replaced during the tutorial. For example, some of the stripped oak logs are replaced for white stained glass pane windows. Therefore during the building process you would actually need about 10 or so more oak logs than the finished product. I started accounting for these replaced blocks in my more recent tutorials materials lists to avoid confusion but it’s usually only to do with blocks used for walls which get replaced by windows or doors later on.

Tip for survival players who are new: build a fence around your house (block with fence on top to stop skeletons) fill it with light and then you can have a garden and space for other things outside, you can make the fenced in area huge so that you can even plant trees so you never have to leave.
@ThatPilot2 ай бұрын
boring, you gotta adventure, find stuff. New players listen to the first bit, just don’t think you shouldn’t ever have to leave. (You can try but it will get boring quite quickly)

I've spent the past 30 minutes trying to figure out what you did to the badement. Cause you started out at 3 blocks high and added the floor to the 3rd block leaving a (very claustrophobic) 2 block area down there. Yet during thw tour it's moved up one so now it's 3 blocks up. So did you just dig down to make it deeper?

Bro said 7 by 9 then switched up to 9 by 11, small but annoying, plus materials were not correctly labled by amount, come one man, cool build but do the correct calculations..cool build nonetheless
@Rizzial4 ай бұрын
The marked 7 by 9 area shows the dimensions between the logs as marked by the black lines, this is so you know how far apart to place the logs. The 9 by 11 then indicates the total dimensions of the area including the logs, once again marked by the black lines. In terms of the materials list, it is 100% accurate to the finished product, although a little more materials may be needed as it wouldn't account for replaced blocks. For example, some stripped oak logs get replaced for white stained glass panes to place in windows and the materials list wouldn't account for the 10 or so oak logs that later get replaced. In your case though it sounds like you just messed up the dimensions from the start and made it bigger than intended and therefore needing more materials. Anyways sorry for the confusion, I guess I should've made the lines bigger or something but thanks for building nonetheless :)

@coocambur83475 ай бұрын
The stair will always face you I think, and then it's just a matter of pressing the top or bottom part of the block you want it to be on, for instance if you want the stair upside down you would click or tap or press the top part of the block
