I found my first flow with Dorian. It's almost like you can't play a bad note. Playing those big fat extensions as an arpeggio really jazzes things up. Thanks for the tip!

RJ is my fav player in KZbin land, discovered him only about 4 months ago and have honestly watched just about ALL of his uploads. Very tasty player with great chops, not a tapping shredder, not that there is anything wrong with that, but rather a melodic player whose ideas when improvising just flow so wonderfully. He never really seems to play the same ideas, runs, riffs etc but always seems to be bringing fresh lines, gifted and obviously worked hard at it...Respect for this guy, like his channel a lot. Undiscovered by the majority, not underrated i would say. RJ and the Del Gaupos is a great listen on Spotify also for 50’s style rock/ surf. 😀

At 13:45, that arpeggio is a C# Major 7 Augmented 5 ( C#maj7 +5 or C#maj7#5). The scale that goes with the maj7+5 is the Lydian Augmented scale. The Lydian Augmented is the 3rd mode of Melodic Minor.
