Bharathiraja and Fasil. Celebrated film directors of Tamil and Malayalam cinema. Both launched their sons with a lot of fanfare and expectations were high on those 2 young boys. Manoj with Taj Mahal in 1999 and Fahadh with Kaiyethum Dhoorath in 2002. Both the movies flopped and both the actors were panned and criticized. While Manoj continued acting in few Tamil movies, Fahadh took a break from acting for 7 years. He made a comeback and never looked back. Now Manoj has faded into oblivion while Fahadh has made a mark not only in Malayalam but also in Tamil and Telugu movies. Always taking a break and sharpening ourselves is a lesson to be learnt from Fahadh Fasil.
