Then a 1/2w 10K ohm fixed resistor, a 220k ohm potentiometer aka (variable resistor) And a 104k or a .001uf to a .002uf capacitor I hope this clarifies parts list schematic is at 5:14 pause it and take a screenshot!

I made light dimmer using a triac and diac, the problem was my bulb went like high and low of light without touching the potentio. Hope to read a response, I am afraid if it is a short circuit. By the way the bulb i use is 3 watts in 220V
