Great job. You are one of the few hedge trimmers on social media who actually trims the bottom of the hedge. I don't think a hedge is complete without the bottom trim.

Yeh it does make the hedge stand out more, i didnt do a tight line on this one as trying to get the gap from the ground smaller. Cheers

Great video. How often do you sharpen the blades on the hedge trimmer attachment?
@RJLgardens8 ай бұрын
Cheers. Whenever they need it really. I've got loads of trimmers that share the workload so they never get too dull, on average I probably sharpen once a month. 👍

Nice work! How do you find the battery trimmers compared to the petrol? I need to buy a new trimmer but expect that petrol are more powerful. I cut laurel which can be woody
@RJLgardens7 ай бұрын
I use battery more than petrol nowadays, I save the petrol for thick tough jobs or large hedges where i need the long blade length, the battery will handle thickish stuff but the blades blunt too easily, so use it on light stuff mainly.
@simonconroy20457 ай бұрын

These aren't the standard blades mate, you need the little plastic top guards like on the handheld models, thats the only way this catcher plate will clip on.

@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 They can watch me all they want 🤣. I wont be doing anything dodgy to risk my business, just for a hedge trim. Some hedges are cut multiple times a year, so you cant wait till september onwards. You just have to do a thorough check.
