I don't know were i seen it, but i always thought you had to remove the "back" so that silver part.. with alchohol. I use to do that for my nails. But now i want to use it for epoxy and i don't want to make any mistakes. So does that make any differenceĺ if i remove that "silver" part wich is on the back..?.
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
@@ingridjager1028 that may be a different type of foils. The foils I use, the silver part is actually the backside of the design. You don’t want to remove it. That’s the part you put down next to the adhesive.
@ingridjager10283 жыл бұрын

This is so much better than I originally thought. In my head I saw the foil and thought it would be glued down, then epoxied straight over. But once you pulled the plastic off the foil...OH MY!! This wasn't looking like Christmas wrap anymore!! It was all so much more gorgeous once you put that treatment on. I am so impressed.

Just seeing this for the first time, and I'm so inspired! I am repurposing an old Art Deco buffet into a bathroom vanity, and it's a given that I'll put epoxy on top to make it water safe and durable. My question is, if I put down foil on top, do I have to put a clear coat over it or could I go straight to UTC?
