Great work mate. So good to see you getting onto a few fish. I usually have a couple of small tins of corn in my tackle box for that very reason. I say usually, because I tend to forget to replace them after I use them. LOL 😂😂😂 Thank you Adam. 🙏

Hi Rohan, it was great to meet you. Thanks again for the conversation and tips. I must admit l was a bit shocked to meet someone whose channel l subscribe to. It was a great day. My total was 12 for the session plus 4 lost due to snags and one slipping the hook. 1 turtle on corn as you saw. Back out there tomorrow and will see how it fishes after the storms we have had. Thanks again Kind regards Adam.

Hi Rohan. Good to see you back fishing. I was on the Yarra on Monday and got one fat carp. About a month ago, I was on a different spot on the Yarra and caught a Murray Cod. It was undersized and I returned it, but good to see other species in the river. Kind regards MP

Thanks Michael. I've heard of cod in the Yarra before, certainly not often though. Always good to see small ones in the system!

Yeah it's a bit off colour, maybe that's another reason why the lures did no good. There was a fair bit of extra water coming over the wall (which couldn't have been rain, (it was so dry before I filmed that) there must be a flow from Eppalock happening through Spring

Was starting to worry about you mate, glad to see you back, hope all is well mate. I would have to agree you definitely made the right choice in switching over to carp, what a legend Adam is, happy to share the spot and even a bit of bait 👍 Gee I'm glad you blokes are down there helping keep those carp in check. We need more people smashing that place, way too many carp in there... Great bit of Aussie pest control 🎣🥾 Poo piranha 😅😂 Can't beat a bit of Adam's corn kernels by the looks of it haha Keep up the awesome work as always mate, hope to see some more videos soon.

I’ve fished in the same spot no Redfin but the carp can get them of the hook
@RKJFishing19 күн бұрын
For years and years that pool was a great redfin fishing spot, but since the last floods the carp have really taken over! If you go back to the earlier videos on my channel you will see me fishing there and catching some nice reddies in the past. Hopefully we can get the carp back under control, and the reddies might come back (maybe) lol

Rohan gday, is frozen corn ok or should i use tinned corn? Thanks
@RKJFishing19 күн бұрын
Hey mate frozen corn works well! I usually grab half a cup full from the frozen bag and fill the rest with cold water to thaw out a bit before I leave. Tinned corn is easier to carry around that's all, but if you keep it in a sandwich bag or screw top container you can chuck it in your bag or tackle box no worries.
@JKFishing013819 күн бұрын
great fish mate was fishing at the Yarra today had about 50 bites and didn't hook a single fish haha im going up to lake Eppalock and Bendigo soon got any tips for yellow belly and cod at Eppalock ill be in season then and even tips for lake weeroona thanks
@RKJFishing19 күн бұрын
Days like that are so frustrating haha. The only yellas I've caught at Eppalock were on worms, and I've never caught a cod there so I don't really have any tips for Eppalock sorry mate! With Lake Weeroona don't cast too far out, you can get plenty of bites a few meters away from the bank - good luck! By the way, Lake Eppalock is open year-round for Murray cod fishing, the closed season has been removed for that lake just like Lake Eildon.
