Once Sri Ramakrishna told Swami Vivekananda, "You can't just immerse in meditation. You have to do a lot of work for the 'Mother' (God) of the universe". So after preaching Vedanta, the core philosophy of Hinduism, in America and Europe Vivekananda came back to India and founded the Ramakrishna Mission to serve the humanity by treating them as the children of God to fulfill the wish of his Guru.
