Quick tip for Rapiers: Rapiers good damage and uses heavily depends on the enchantments. The must-have enchantments you would want for a rapier: Swifter Slashes 3 to 5, Any Sharpness > Sharpness 4, Rune: Piercing Capabilities 4. The 200% damage buff without armour since the rune enchantment renders the enemy as unarmoured and Swifter Slashes make rapiers a stabbing machine .

Yea. Rapier with high sharpness can deal very heavy damage on mobs but sadly low damage for mobs with armor

Rune Piercing Capabalities IV can solve it. With that enchantment, the game renders the enemy as having NO armour, so that 200% buff is permanent.

i feel like the lance will be the best weapon in rlcraft 2.9 cause mobs will have armor and the lance gives pets and summons a 100% damage boost if you ride a mount. Maybe the mace will be good as well when dealing with undead mobs.

yeah, everything's getting majorly reworked in 2.9 getting mounts, in particular, is going to be a lot harder especially so if you want to get them soulbound so maybe lances will only be a mid/late game thing

2:58 im assuming that you dont know about the enchantment rune piercing capabilities 4, each level of rune piercing capabilities makes it so that you ignore 25% of the enemies armor, so if you use a rapier with rune piercing capabilities 4 you ignore 100% of the enemies armor so you get the 200% damage bonus on every single enemy, making the rapier the best late game weapon.

Studded Caestus is amazing for pvp, the fact that it nearly fully ignores s is stupidly op for pvp and you can infinitely combo people with it making it incredible if your good enough to use it also its onehanded so you can hold a totem either way its amazing sure the dmg isnt much but with buffs you deal good dmg and you can hit extremely fast

Katana is pretty good if u have ankh charm cuz its not as weak as rapier while being faster than saber and it can do the same 100% more dmg to mobs without chestplate

It only manages to compete with the rapier and saber in late-game, where you'd most likely have an armor-piercing rune (making the rapier's 200% damage boost way more powerful) But I guess that depends on having the enchantment or not There's also the 25%damage absorption, but you wouldn't really care much about it in the late-game I've heard that in RLCraft 2.9 the saber and rapier get nerfed so the katana will definitely shine -assuming that you're referring to the spartan weaponry in RLCraft-

I'm not really sure on what RLCraft's minimum requirements are, but I guess at least 4Gb RAM an i5 CPU (doesn't need to be one of the newer models - as long as it isn't an i3) GPU wise I guess anything is fine as long as it isn't an integrated graphics card (if the GPU is too bad just don't install Optifine)

I found this cja nel and it's nice you make this guides.. But you should definitely make a Playlist of your RLCraft guides. More to it,this mod is not that balances just for having all of this mods yet it intrigues me but I know my pc won't and does not handle it. You also missed throwing spear as its a alternive in early game when you dont have bow/crossbow and enough arrows making stone throwing spears and the spears shoot like a machine gun.

Should I use rapier or a saber starting out? I know I can use rapier with rune : piercing capability for more damage

sabers are all-rounders, if you're looking forward to fighting battletowers go for a saber, otherwise, rapiers are better (just hope you don't find any armored zombies or skeletons -- that's why it's no good for fighting battletowers)

Simply adding the mod manually should do the trick, but there may be some conflicts when doing so

Depends on your playstyle and if it's early game or late game, but overall I'd say greatsword as two-handed and rapier as one-handed

Bring weapons and armor keep distance from ore if you don't feel safe

Coal monsters take additional damage to pickaxes (just like "plant monsters" taking more damage from axes) just like starblaster said, keeping your distance when mining an ore is the safest option

Basically every spartan weaponry sword is better than the regular sword, if you want to have a "similar to vanilla feel" go for the saber

If by "assassin" you mean "hit and run" then throwing axe and the halberd are the 2 highest damage choices If you mean stealth then just fire a longbow from 10 chunks away

I saw something saying tin saber in the mod and I wanted to craft it but I couldn’t even tho it still existed in the game there was no possible way to craft it. The only way how I can get this weapon is by using creative mode. Do you know why this is happening?

A lot of items have been disabled but you can still spawn them in if you're in creative mode

you can manually place it in the off-hand slot when opening your inventory (the slot has the icon of a shield) Or simply press the respective keybind (it should be "F" by default)

how does a throwing knife deal more damage than a dagger? in the original spartan weaponry mod, the dagger deals more damage than the throwing knife.

I think you're mistaken because daggers are cheaper than throwing knives, so by that logic they should also be weaker...unless RLCraft also changed the crafting recipe

It's a higher damage bow but it needs to be both loaded and aimed, making it very slow furthermore, it uses bolts, not arrows (you won't find bolts lying around in chests)

Good call, crossbow reloads don't make them very practical in actual combat (imo) so longbows are the way to go ;)

No love for cross bows? Really, I run cross bows cuz they hit harder and arrow/bolt velocity is faster, theres 2 types the cross bow that uses arrows and the cross bow that uses bolts there also a self reloading cross bow so 3 I mean.. The diamond cross bow can 1 shot a skele and it has no drawing animation but a reloading animation, the cross bow that shoots arrows is insane as you can get it early game and its arrows shoot way faster than a vanilla bow and long bow, and it range is litterally a amphitter arrow but using regular arrows I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DIDN'T LOOK AT THE CROSS BOWS AND QUIVERS??!!
