RLCraft Crafting Runes Tier List!

In this video I will explain what are the best items to make via crafting runes in rlcraft, while organizing all the items into a tier list from best to worst! The ranks are from my own personal experience using the items, and I found out a lot of really cool stuff while testing these items! Some of these items are actually so fun that I will make sure to try to make them in all my worlds! I hope you enjoy the video!

Crafting runes are entirely random each world generation. The color of the rune means literally nothing outside of the world that you have determined its recipe in.

You're right, I didn't know that, that just means you will need to make a crafting rune early and just take all runes

Shock talisman is cool and all, but I generally avoid anything and everything that causes explosions (including weapon enchantments and mount abilities) because I don’t want to deal with a horde of Tremors.

I am totally sure that if u enchant the gamble pickaxe with fortune 3, you will get a 60% chance instead of a 50%

Even higher than that. I enchanted mine with Unbreaking III, Advanced Mending and Fortune III. I don't trade with villagers anymore, just "dupe" my Emerald Blocks. I think the chance of getting the block back is between 65 and 70%.

Hmm, if that is true, than that does make it worth it for sure! I did not expect a vanilla enchantment to increase the chances of a modded tool giving double blocks! The crafting runes mod author must have intentionally added that little detail! I will do some testing, but if that is true, than indeed the gamble pickaxe is amazing and I would put it at probably rank 3 or 4

hey cas! could you do a video on all the benefits of the grappling hook? (from the grappling hook mod) i find them very useful but most people i talk smack about it, i alsays have one on me and ESPECIALLY when gokmg to the end as theres a lot of mobs that can push you off, theyre also a really fun and easy way to trverse by, you can even scale up buildings and walls if you know how to do it correctly (hold jump key while spamming right click when on a flat wall) you dont have to its just a suggestion!

For anyone interested, tested 2.9.3, it only stays in your inventory if it's in your inventory, if they're in belt, crate or shulker they drop with them, even though they're bounded.

Casualty I think the heat talisman turns everything into its smelted variant, or what Shivaxi would’ve imagined it to be in the cAse of the cracked bricks. Otherwise it becomes terracotta

bulwark burgers or chubercabra meat. Bread works too. See the thing is, eating noramlly serves no real purpose in rlcraft, since it doesn't regen health. The only time people eat purposeful food is for the buffs, so for normal day to day stuff, bread will be fine. Its only in combat or bossfights u would take specail foods, and if tahts teh case, bulwark burgers or maka meat early game and battle burritoes late game.

I heard bound pickaxe is getting destroyed or change into a normal pickaxe after right clicking with it. Is that a bug? 2.9.2 rlcraft

I haven't looked into that weapon in 2.9.2, but that 100% would suck. It would certainly be a bug. I do remember these bound weapons being weird, especially when testing with them in creative mode

At the time I was using the upgraded mods "ice and fire dragons" and "spartan and fire." These mods are in default rlcraft, but I updated them to see how the game would change, but after seeing it made dragons a bit too different, I un-updated the mods, removing dragonsteel in the process

I would recomend making sea serpant arrows and using a standard bow with advanced power, strafe VI, and rapid fire II! Sea serpant arrows travel through the water as well as arrows travel on land and it makes for a great underwater ranged weapon, I would say the best in the game for that particular play style

@@subhasdas3444 I tried the tide trident out and sadly it can only get the enchantments unbreaking, mending, and a few cursed enchantments like curse of possession, curse of holding, and curse of vanishing, and none of those cursed enchants help. Curse of Possession actually makes it harder for you to pick up your trident after you throw it as well. Sadly it seems like the trident is just a cool legendary throwing weapon that you can't even put throwing enchantments on. I would say this item is super cool, but very inefficient as you have to pick it up after every use. If the loyalty and impaling enchantments were in the game, than this trident would be absolutely amazing though as it has high base damage and can be super useful for groups of enemies. Sadly picking this item up after every time you throw it, is not very convinient or strong as of right now. I know it kind of is a good amount of work, but making those tide arrows and using a bow will be a vastly superior underwater ranged weapon to use. I am sorry that RLCraft did your trident dirty like that, it is a fun item :c

But basically, dragonsteel armor is armor that you get only when updating a few mods, and the weapon I use has a lot of enchantments on it but they can be seen on screen at 53 seconds in on the second linked video

Nah, this was 2.8.2 but I manually updated to have dragonsteel in my game. Since dragonsteel is not in rlcraft 2.9 though, I no longer use it in my mod load order and I just play vanilla rlcraft.

I think the terra-cotta thing is a more of a placeholder for things that can’t normally be roasted, explain why it also convert red stone into terra-cotta as well.

Strengthened Vitality V on the chestplate, undying quality and hearty secondary quality on all the baubles (by using reforging stations) and consuming 10 heart containers that can be made with heart crystals or found in dungeons.

@Casualty I finally started a new world on hard difficulty and after dying a few times I got a flying mount, soul bound it and started grinding but now I'm kinda stuck. Any advice for someone looking to grind a decent diamond armour set and weapons for dragon hunting?

100%! Without giving too much away, I will just say that you should start looking for tall tower structures that are filled with spawners! The ones in particular you want to find, will have an iron golem mini boss at the top, and 2 mob spawners on every floor of the tower! The top 2 chests on the tower have amazing loot ranging from xp tomes, a nether star, diamonds, emeralds, glowstone, blaze rods, and sometimes enchantment books! You should use a fishing rod while you are on your flying mount and fish the mini boss off the top of the tower! There are a few other ways to cheese the battle tower boss as well! You can also just defeat it, which is not too difficult if you have a summoning staff or are good at blocking with a shield! Exploring for villagers and various village type structures can also be a good way to spend your time in mid game! You eventually want to get lots of levels, diamonds, and enchantments! A summoning staff though would certainly help! It is made with a gold ingot, a bone, and an ender pearl

@@AlternatorAI There are a lot of amazing enchantments in rlcraft, but I would say you should only save 1 of each max enchantment because you will eventually get the other enchantments you want! You should save things like supreme sharpness, atomic deconstructor, lifesteal IV, and other max ones, but you can use education III and lesser tiers of sharpness on your diamond weapon now if you would like! To be honest, I usually just save every enchantment book until I get dragon armor anyways, and I always make a "makeshift" set of dragon gear and weapons, and I make my god set usually much later along the end game grind

@@CasualtyYT hunting dragons is turning out to be problematic for me though, I've found dozens of them, however my aegis ( who are on wander and aggresive ) don't help out at all. Do I have to put them on assist and bow the dragon first or should I just get closer so the dragons get aggravated ( but hopefully doesn't start flying lol )

Creating tools and weapons is one of my favorite things to do in RLcraft. I had made the pickaxe recipe using the V named version of the Geomach's fist and arm don't remember its name. some type of crystal version, but at level 3 ....WAS AMAZING watching it mine out what felt like an entire chuck.

This is good, cas is learning and becoming more of an expert on rlcraft. I use the shock talisman to break blocks all the time. It has a maximum radius of 3x3 chunks and can even break obsidian. Don’t leave up athletics of you wish to do maximum damage with this tool.

yeah, but the gamble pick still has super low durability! With fortune tho, it certainly can give you some rewards, you will just need to be fine repairing it a lot, either with mending, or with xp

You need to update the mods "spartan and fire" and "ice and fire dragons in a new light." You can update these mods on the cursedforge launcher really easily, by allowing content management of the profile in options, and then scrolling down the files tab to the two mods in question, and clicking the update arrow to the far right of the page. Be warned though: going back to a previous game version on the profile is more complicated and involves you deleting mods and redownloading them from the browser. Also, dragons that already exist in your world will usually become invincible after updating these mods. I reccomend creating a new rlcraft profile and playing with the updated mods there. You can have one rlcraft for normal play, and a second rlcraft for updated play with dragonsteel in other words. I hope this made sense gamer!

As I've seen elsewhere, the gamble pick when given fortune 3 becomes overpowered. Easily #1 imo. I can dupe dragon materials for instant maxed dragonsteel (just need 9 for a block, 18 incase the first block gets destroyed) Ore blocks are also super ez to dupe
