The cows were killed in the Bloodmoon probably. Also Backpacks don't take armor slots anymore, they take a bauble slot. The backpack will be placed on the ground where you die.

Pro tip , build your roof with half slabs that will not burn. There is a lava event. That will turn solid blocks into lava. Pro tip #2 build a roof over your farm so when a mob spawns in, they can't fly up away from you. And you can kill them. Quickly. Pro tip #3 Flowers are your best friend. Place them everywhere around where you live. Pro tip #4 fire, lava, and mushrooms are very good mob farm's. Pro tip #5: Use your mob drops to craft the best tools a weapons in the game. Good luck.

The geonach and other ore mobs are best killed with your pickaxe. Changing to your sword is why you're hardly damaging them

The mobs that spawned from Hell's Fury are definitely from Doom. The flying skulls are lost souls, flying red balls are cacodemons, the red demons are hell knights or barons of hell and the tan colored demon is the archvile I think.

Reaper only comes out for killing creatures or sleeping/trying to sleep. Mining comes with the risk of Vespulas and Geonaches, who are easier to deal with with your pickaxe rather than a sword. There is a back accessory slot that the backpack can go into by placing it into the world and then breaking it with an empty hand while crouching. It does have some slight negatives, but can also get a modifier. Be aware though that shift+RMB with an empty hand will also place the backpack into the world. @11:20 The Inspiration's Barometer can show you world height @25:20 Keep looking around that area, there should be four armour stands with a full set of chainmail, iron, gold, and diamond. Having a base of wood is dangerous, there are plenty of creatures that can cause it to light on fire. But having any cobblestone is an absolutely nightmare, as there are some that will turn any cobblestone in proximity into lava sources.

"A great way to die" pretty much describes this mod pack. Having watched your channel and another KZbinr who's initials are "CS" I'll make two suggestions - Install a gravestone mod. You might not be able to get close enough to open it but at least your stuff won't despawn. When you can make an XP Tome. And no I will never play this mod pack as I'm not that much of a masochist.

22:35 Rock elementals take more damage from pickaxes and crop elementals take more damage from gathering and farming weapons/equipment I think, I'm not 100% sure about crop elementals but rock elementals do take more damage from pickaxes, also the Dregora custom map has 4-6 custom biomes you get to them by following the lava ravines that you spawned at in your first episode, you should follow them to the middle of the map first and then choose which biome you want to go to ( This is endgame thing thought )

yup, i can tell mining is for tough boys, it kinda goes the same for vanilla if yoou think about it, 24/7 monster spawns and closed spaces where you can't run freely and take full control of the fight, skeletons dont even out this difference if you consider that you can dodge their arrows if you're not too close to them, but instead of dealing no damage on a base encounter they usually land one or two arrows, that is if you dont have a shield

Yeah you never really need to mine anyway there is a structure that gives you a lot of iron blocks and it doesn't have any enemies in them. I also get bunch of diamonds from electric dragon nest.

​@caveman2480 you can tell it's a dragon nest of any type if it has loads of ore in it and they are huge level 5 dragons can lay waste to entire lands if you are unprepared it's best to start with the little dragons and make armor to fight them

You can permanently increase max health via heart quartz or heart crystal or other items or equippables you can also get items to summon lycanite creatures or summon tamed monsters and resummon them after they die and some creatures like geonachs or tree monster take double damage by certian tools and take reduced damage when the wrong tool or weapon is used on them hope this helps make this a bit less painful

A protective strat is to have a low ceiling over your crops. The farm mobs that spawn are 2.5 and 3 block high, so with a roof at 3 blocks high, they get locked in place, allowing you to take them out easily.

Quick tip: use your levels as soon as you get them so you can „evenly“ level up and also not loose too much when dying. Of course this doesn’t apply if you are trying to level something especially like for example if you need more attack levels for another weapon or such

Tbh the best way of farming xp is cheesing the battle towers. Find the wall adjacent to the spawners, build up, quietly destroy the spawners and loot the chests, build up to the next floor. Way less painful than mining lol

Craft a shield it's going to help you a lot in the early game. Also, use spear or saber and pair it up with the shield. Even a stone one can help you survive early game. :)

Creatures are very hard to tame, especially hostile ones, treats take a crap ton of resources.

Big note: swords are Not always the best weapon, you need to use axes, picks, shovels, even shears at some times to harm creatures that are resistant. Also, vanilla style swords are about the worst full weapon

i know it feels weird to lose all your stuff, but the experience you are using to build the RPG elements so you can restart at higher levels is definitely helping. you might have to restart a bunch, but at least you dont have to start at the flint level every time.

yeah, his village seems very empty overall (maybe the villagers all died while he was in the mines/exploring or when he let it go night time, so defender mobs no longer spawn?) The village I spawned near had like 6-7 Aegis mobs that kept things very safe as long as I slept fairly regularly to not let them get completely overwhelmed. Really allowed me to get a head start despite being full of silt, mud and ash (not great for farming).

If another event like that happens just dig straight down because the hole in the ground is the most broken strategy in Minecraft that only attacks through walls can kill you which is not very many mobs only dragons and ghosts (yes that includes the ghost like mobs that phase through)

Maybe now the time you craft a Longbow for your projectile, because longbow can do so much damage even with normal arrow. Try crafting some craftable baubles, there a lot useful early game baubles like tools belt for storing your weapon and easily change to another one with 1 click

Don't worry about putting stuff in backpack, it places on the ground after you die. it is kind of similair to a grave mod in that sense. Also the "tremors" mob you was talking about in the other video is a paramite from Oddworld videogame. it is a fun game

You can make a cinder xp farm with charcoal blocks, you will just need to spawn proof the area around you so arguses don't spawn. It's the safest way to level up but it's slow. Recommended to build it underground btw

The rapier gives damage reduction, as in you take less damage when in your hand, might be a good early weapon combined with a shield. And chosen you should really start carrying heals my guy, there were a lot of confrontations where you could have healed and not die.
