i recommend for the future, to invest in heating and cooling coils. cooling coils are crafter from ice cubes, which you get from breaking ice. heating coils are crafted from magma shards which you get from breaking magma.

as an alternative, if you manage to get your hands on slime. you can make armor to be both heat and cold resistant by combining the ice cubes and magma shards with slime and wool.
