RLCraft Sylph Farm!

I have a problem, my aegis wont attack the sylphs unless i go inside the case so the sylphs see and target me. ive put the pedestal on agressive. Is it because i play on RLCraft 2.8.2? Any ides on what i should do? (Except this problem the farm works)

yes, just checked it out and you're correct. To fix this, I removed every other layer of blocks from the walls, so the sylphs can see the player but you dont have to go in. Leave the blocks around the floor, and remove the second, fourth and sixth layers of glass. I updated the download and added a new image there for reference as well, let me know if that fixes it on your end :)

tried out your farms and they work great. Build the multi layered drop farm. (The one with poison, acid, goo and lava.) I had to box it in a bit more from keeping mobs glitching through the walls but now it just works and produces tons of items. Once I find a jungle or desert temple I'm trying this one. Your turtorials are great and you explain it in good detail, but I suggest you work a bit on your voice. You sound so monotone. Try to share your enthusiasm about building these farms or your hastle to get them to work properly. I really like this channel to get some more attention because you are doing a great job. I haven't seen the wall glitching issue, but I am glad you got it working! it always takes some trial and error, especially in modded. the sylph farm is less effective in rlcraft 2.8.2+ since they spawn at level 120, rather than level 3 now. check the updated download, since agro mechanics were also changed. and thanks for the feedback :) I personally think I've made a lot of progress with the voice overs, my old videos are pretty hard to watch lol

I thoroughly enjoyed the video's information. I only wonder about the reading. The voice is smooth and perfect, but you speak as if reading from a script you're bored of :c ... You enjoyed making the video right? I mean - I enjoyed it, but just wondering if you were hesitant on making this... I will attempt to use this in my world if i ever spot a pyramid though - thank you for the vid! :o

it is definitely worth it, especially since torches have to be relit, I just use glowstone blocks for light. they cant hurt you if you're standing in water btw, should make it a lot easier to build. I appreciate the feedback, its very valid criticism. I rolled a 10 in science and a 0 in speech lol..

Hello I luv this video this idea is genius, and thank you for introducing the mob killing block, I had no idea rlcraft have one of that. The voice sounds like a robot, I’m assuming you are using a robot app for the voice? and is there any chance you can dial down the pitch a bit? The voice is smooth but the pitch is bit too high imo

I've had Sylphs spawn in the village I live in..should I be worried ?(that there's some temple underground or something) This video's very well made, is it ok if I link it on one of my videos as a potential xp farm? (the farm is ment for the loot but if you enter the chanber you can still collect all the xp that hasn't de-spawned yet)

@@LordAngrim i know this is late - but your village potentially may be too high and it's an aegis combining with a djinn - that, or something is attracting a djinn close enough. These can be dangerous - as their levels reach up to the hundreds if the place was loaded long enough.

Sylphs also spawn above strongholds, so maybe that is what is under the town.

it seems related to local difficulty, so keeping it rendered for a while should increase the spawns. we built 2 in survival and I have noticed they will stop spawning occasionally

I did everything correctly however once I tore down all the walls, the sylph's stopped spawning

they wont spawn in water, otherwise it may be the mob cap or local difficulty. sometimes they just dont spawn. i have tested in 2.8.2 and it works for me, feel free to check the download

Sylph’s were spawning until I broke all the reasons, that might of been in an update of some kind, I’m not sure

Does the size of the cage matter? What If, I built it a bit larger so I can fit my Lycanite Cockatrice inside to replace the summoning pedestal? Would it break the farm or no?
