I wouldn't call myself an Overwatch fan but I'll say something positive about it at least: the gun play is enjoyable. Things seem to register pretty well and with it being such an action packed game, it can be an exciting time while on voice chat with some buddies. Identifying with characters in any game has never really mattered to me, game play does, which is what shooty-shooty-bang-bang games should be about anyway imo. Though it does have some enjoyable moments, I don't think I've ever considered it to be a good game. it's always had balance issues, flavour of the month characters and other annoying aspects. It's also a Blizzard game so I haven't supported them for years now. Thanks for the content man.

33:00 I'm not a die hard ow fan (stopped during goat, came back a bit before the start of ow2) but I'll try to write something normal about the game: it is fun and refreshing because of the many different types of gameplay it offers. I could play zarya for hours, and then I could play winston for hours, or soldier, or symmetra, or ana, or zen. Sometimes it really feels like infinite gameplay. The game was extremely difficult to reason with in 6v6, I couldn't understand why I would die, and couldn't really adapt to the situation because, as far as I understand it now, nothing was dying (because of the plethora of defensive abilities brought by the 2 tanks) so the resolution of a fight was typically 12 people hitting their ultimate at the same time, and then one of the team would randomly emerge victorious. With 5v5 things can die now, so it's way easier to understand the game, get picks, work on positioning, ability usage, applying pressure, getting space etc. I never engaged with the lootbox system and bought 2 battlepasses so the game cost me 50€ for hundreds of hours (been playing since 2016). Oh and the most important thing: overwatch used to ruin my mood but since ow2 I removed all text chat (allied and opposing team) and it's a game changer. I would never recommend leaving text chat on to anybody, I think the game is 1000x more enjoyable without it. Following this I also removed text chat from cs2 and I plan to do the same for every competitive game in the future.

Hi Richard. Overwatch fan here. I enjoy playing Overwatch, I think it's a fun game with a lot more depth than people give it credit for and I have about 600 hours in the game. That being said, Activision Blizzard is a horrible company and the majority of the fans are either weirdos or terminally angry (and yes there are a lot of s*x weirdos too). The OWL was a complete failure, however I don't think the game attracts many people interested in esports anyway, because of it's casual nature. The entire brand has been mismanaged and abused basically since the game released. I still enjoy the game though, so I will continue to play it as long as it's fun for me. Just wanted to let you know there are sane people who play the game (well at least I think I'm sane, madness is always hardest to spot within oneself).

I enjoy playing Overwatch. I like how there are many different playstyles and team compositions to solve problems, sometimes you're not in the mood to just click heads and can play a different hero. If the enemy team has a very good aimer on a sniper hero that I can't out aim I have the option to play a hero that has a lot of mobility to close the distance and tip the scales in my favour. I also sometimes enjoy having a few bevvies/joints, putting on some tunes and flying around as mercy, healing and damage buffing people. You don't get that same semi-chill vibe with CS, Valorant or LoL. Is the game as competitive as CS, no, but that doesn't make it any less fun. I actually think it's more enjoyable because of the shorter match times and it being more casual even in competitive modes, however I will concede that the competitive highs you get from CS are much higher. Love your videos mate
