For reasons we do not understand, this video (which was supposed to end around 8:20) ended up with a bunch of extra black space and a second copy of the credits tacked on to the end. We apologize for any confusion.

In the 1980s I met the great grandson of the local mechanic that that assembled the engine upon its arrival at the C&As' soon to be shop in Bordentown NJ. It arrived from England with no instructions or plans for its assembly.

Alright, the YT algorithm did something right for a change and pointed me to a channel I've never heard of that's actually relevant to my interests! Great video, despite the rendering error- looking forward to seeing more from this channel now!

Less than a year after the opening of the Liverpool to Manchester railway, this locomotive is delivered to the USA. Remarkable.
